  • System capacity 3.4 MW –
    (Fuel cell & co generation)

  • Approved NYC UTC/ONSI installer –
    NGEM designed, project managed,
    installed and is maintaining plant
    operations.

    Provides critical power supply during
    peak demand or the equivalent of
    powering 400 family residence on LI.

  • Summer peak sheaving 3.0 MW –
    (1) diesel generator converted to a
    bi-fuel natural gas system working in
    parallel with five (5) UTC fuel cells.

  • Waste heat and hot water recovery –
    Installed (2) 70 ton absorption chillers
    and (1) steam generator and recover
    waste heat from co generation plant.

  • Natural gas fuel-cell technology
    provides additional reliability by
    chemically converting C2H6 found
    in gas to electric power.

  • Estimated reduction in CO2 is
    approximately 40% less than the
    average US fossil fueled plant.
